Anindya Dasgupta, Ph.D.

Dr. Dasgupta directs GMP manufacture of lentiviral vectors, gammaretroviral vectors, and cell therapy products for biotech and academic clients. In his career spanning over two decades in the cell and gene therapy (CGT) space, Dr. Dasgupta has managed product pipelines from discovery through process development (PD) to GMP manufacturing stages, and developed strategies to manufacture high titer lentiviral vector and γδ T cells in serum-free media. He is also an inventor of a novel anti-cancer therapeutic modality that has been licensed to a biopharmaceutical company. Dr. Dasgupta is published in reputed journals and is a regular contributor as an invited speaker, guest editor, and reviewer in scientific and media outlets.
